Agreement
These terms govern your use of the Wren mobile application, website, content, and related services. By downloading, purchasing, or using Wren, you agree to these terms and the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use Wren.
What Wren provides
Wren provides tinnitus education and a structured, self-guided programme focused on sleep, focus, and attention. Features may include onboarding questions, daily exercises, sound support, reminders, progress records, and educational material.
Wren is not a medical device, medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency service. It does not replace advice or care from a qualified healthcare professional.
Medical and safety information
Use your own judgement and seek professional advice when appropriate. Stop an exercise if it causes distress or discomfort. Seek prompt medical care for sudden hearing loss, new pulsatile tinnitus, a sudden one-sided change, or another urgent change in symptoms.
If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, contact local emergency services. In the United States, call or text 988 for immediate crisis support.
Eligibility
You must be legally able to agree to these terms. If local law requires permission from a parent or guardian, you may use Wren only with that permission.
Subscriptions and billing
Wren may offer monthly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions. The price, billing period, introductory offer, and trial terms shown in the app at the time of purchase form part of these terms.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID through the App Store.
- A free trial, when offered, converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Apple may charge your account for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings.
- Deleting Wren does not cancel an active subscription.
- Refund requests and billing disputes are handled by Apple under App Store policies.
Wren uses RevenueCat to initiate purchases, verify subscription status, and restore purchases. RevenueCat does not replace Apple's billing terms.
Licence
Subject to these terms, Wren grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app and its content for your own lawful, non-commercial purposes.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Copy, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Wren or its content.
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where the law expressly permits it.
- Interfere with the app, purchases, security, or normal operation of the service.
- Use Wren in a way that violates applicable law or another person's rights.
- Misrepresent your relationship with Wren or use its name or artwork without permission.
Intellectual property
Wren, its programme, writing, illustrations, interface, branding, and software are owned by Wren or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership to you.
Availability and changes
Wren may change, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary. Access may occasionally be interrupted by maintenance, App Store services, device conditions, or events outside Wren's control.
No guarantee of results
Responses to tinnitus education and attention training vary. Wren does not promise a particular health outcome, improvement, or result.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wren is provided on an "as available" basis without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wren and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of or inability to use the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Termination
You may stop using Wren at any time. Wren may suspend or end access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, or address a material breach of these terms. Subscription cancellation remains subject to Apple's billing process.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when Wren, App Store requirements, or applicable law changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when updated terms are published. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law.
